Join us for a pre‑conference reception on the future of EU investment screening
Ahead of the 3rd Conference on Economic Security and Market Regulation, we invite participants and interested guests to an open pre‑conference reception focused on the upcoming reform of the EU FDI Screening Regulation.
The EU is preparing a new framework that will introduce common minimum standards for all Member States, expand security‑relevant sectors, and tighten notification and approval requirements for cross‑border M&A. The reform will also bring procedural changes that directly affect deal timelines and the scope of transactions subject to review.
This reception offers a timely expert update on what the new rules mean for cross‑border M&A, investors, and national authorities — and how they fit into the EU’s broader economic security agenda.
Who should attend:
M&A professionals, investors, banks, in‑house counsel, private equity firms, and all stakeholders active in international transactions.
