30 years of EVER e.V. – Three decades of active networking
For 30 years now, the Alumni Association of the Europa-Institut – EVER e.V. has been connecting people who have earned their LL.M. degree at the Europa-Institut of Saarland University. What began in 1994 as an initiative by committed graduates has developed into a lively, international network that now extends far beyond the borders of Europe.
EVER's focus has always been on maintaining contact between former students of the Europa-Institut. The association creates spaces where exchange, encounter, and mutual support are a matter of course – long after the completion of the master's program. Through a wide range of activities, EVER helps to turn student cohorts into communities and individual careers into a strong, global network.
In addition, EVER has always provided financial support for the work of the Europa-Institut and awards a Germany Scholarship as well as scholarships for students in need.
Regular meetings in numerous European cities offer members the opportunity to renew old friendships, make new connections, and look back together on their special time at the Europa-Institut. In addition, EVER supports its members with a wide range of services: a job and internship exchange facilitates entry into professional life, while special events promote dialogue between current students and alumni – many of whom now hold positions of responsibility in business, science, administration, and politics.
On its 30th anniversary, EVER e.V. looks back not only on an impressive history, but above all on the people who bring this network to life. The association exemplifies the European idea: cross-border, diverse, open, and driven by the conviction that exchange and cooperation form the basis for a shared future.
