Applications for Germany Scholarships for the 2026/27 Academic Year Now Open

Applicants for the 2026/27 academic year in the Master’s program in European and International Law at the Europa-Institut are eligible to apply for a Germany Scholarship.

The application period for a Germany Scholarship at Saarland University begins on June 1, 2026 and ends on June 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Germany Scholarships are awarded as part of a funding program by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology, and Space. They are funded equally by the federal government and private sponsors. The program’s goal is to support high-achieving and dedicated students and to further strengthen the culture of scholarships in Germany.

Scholarship recipients receive funding of 300 euros per month for a period of one year. The funding begins with the 2026/27 winter semester.

Applications may only be submitted via the StudienStiftungSaar online application portal. After registering, applicants can upload their documents directly through the portal and complete their application.
