Blast from the past – 10-year graduation reunion of our Master’s batch of 2014/2015

Graduates of the Master’s program in European and International Law returned to Saarbrücken to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their graduation. They traveled from Turkey, Germany, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Syria, France, Guatemala, and Colombia to reconnect.

They were of course also here to relive some Europa-Institut traditions: a lecture hall session, a round of foosball in the library, the traditional picture in front of the building with the flags and they took home a bag full of goodies from the Europa-Institut.

In the evening, they went out for dinner and drinks and enjoyed a walk through Saarbrücken – the perfect chance to catch up and bring each other up-to-date on each other’s lives.
It is amazing to see where they have gone since studying in Saarbrücken: Today, they are working across sectors in law, politics, business, and international organizations. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to share memories of an important time in their lives.
We are already looking forward to welcoming them back for the next big occasion: 75 years of the Europa-Institut and 30 years of our alumni association EVER e.V. on 20 June 2026. Save the date!
