The Friedrich Foundation (Friedrich Stiftung) is inviting students to take part in the ideas competition 'A Vision for Europe'. The most convincing entries will receive a prize money: 1st prize €2500, 2nd prize €1500, 3rd prize €1000.

Submissions can be written in German, English or French and can take the following forms: conceptual 'sketch', essay, literary work or graphic short story. The competition aims to create a vision for Europe:

What are the ideas that ignite young people's passion for Europe? What are the facts, arguments and experiences that can inspire Europeans to build a better Europe for tomorrow?

The ideas competition is open to students of all disciplines at Saarland University and to students enrolled at a partner university in one of the international university alliances 'Transform4Europe' or 'University of the Greater Region (UniGR)'. The submission deadline is 31 March 2024. The winners will be selected by a judging panel made up of German and European personalities. Attached you can find the flyer for the competition.
