The requirements for admission to the LL.M. program "European and International Law" at the Europa-Institut are as follows
Sound knowledge of German and/or English are fundamental for admittance to the program. Candidates must be able to prove that they have a sufficient level of knowledge in one of the two languages, in order to be admitted to the Europa-Institut.

The Master's program "European and International Law" begins in the winter semester.
The deadline for applications is always 15 July, directly preceding the winter semester that candidates wish to commence in. Late applications may be accepted until 30 September.
Exceptions may be made for commencement of the program in the summer semester. Applicants who are already in possession of their confirmation of degree letters by spring are therefore encouraged to apply by 1 April.
The number of available places is limited. Candidates are selected on the basis of academic record and grade average, as well as criteria based on their academic qualifications and their previous field(s) of study.
Please note that the visa acquisition process may take up to several months!

There are two application forms available. The first form can be filled out electronically but has to be printed out and sent to us via mail. The second form can be printed out and filled in by hand and then sent to us via mail. Both forms have to be sent to us via mail. Unfortunately, we do not provide an online application. Should you have trouble filling in the form online, please download it first and fill it out then.
