Joachim Frick frequently represents Swiss and foreign clients in commercial litigation and in arbitration proceedings (under Swiss Chambers, ICC, ad hoc and other arbitration rules), with special emphasis on post M&A disputes.

Also, he regularly represents and advises insurance and reinsurance companies as well as insurance intermediairies and banks on legal and regulatory insurance matters and represents clients in insurance and reinsurance disputes.

Mr. Frick also represents in particular insurance and aviation clients in m&a and other transactions and advises them on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including aviation finance.

Joachim Frick is a member of the Litigation and Arbitration practice group of the Zurich office and heads the office’s Insurance Practice Group. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the European Insurance Practice Group of Baker & McKenzie.

In addition to his position as a practicing attorney, he is a honorary professor of law at Zurich University where he teaches private international law and arbitration. He was awarded a Howard M. Holtzman Fellowship in International Arbitration by Yale Law School, and is a member of various arbitration associations.
